Moschino Announced As H&M’s Newest Collaboration Partner

Continuing its series of designer collaborations, H&M’s Moschino collection ‘Moschino [tv] H&M’ will drop on November 8.

According to Vogue, Moschino, the Italian label headed by Jeremy Scott, has been confirmed as Swedish mega-brand H&M’s newest collaboration partner.

The collection is said to bring the Swedish fast fashion purveyor and the Italian label together to focus on luxury with inclusiveness and affordability.

“I no longer do my collaboration line with Adidas, and sadly, until now, I haven’t really had another way to service the fandom,” he says. “This collaboration makes me feel like I’m able to give something again. Lots of young people love my clothes . . . and we make phone cases and little things like that, but in order to have a lewk, I love that this is now something that will be affordable.”

Titled Moschino [TV] H&M, Scott noted that the team up will be priced between $30 and $400 and feature 45 womenswear pieces and 20 menswear pieces with a plethora of quirky accessories done in Scott’s signature pop art style.

“There’s a silver sequined parka dress,” says Scott. “Denim pieces are all twisted into something else. Puffers and jackets are reconfigured into cropped things or double-long things. There’s a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling, like a hockey jersey with a train.” He also flags a CD print, which is “archival from Franco [Moschino]. Sometimes I reconfigure something from the history, but sometimes it’s perfect as is.”

The Moschino [TV] H&M collection is set to release online and at select H&M stores worldwide November 8. Stay tuned for more.
